We host a myriad of guests and events in our home.
The jewel of our 24′ x 24′ dining room is “Miss Ellen’s table”, a handmade 11-foot plank table original to the Carpenter Hotel. Evidence of almost 120 years of boarders and guests grace this in-use artifact. The room can seat up to 36 people. We’ve hosted various government agencies’ meetings and retreats, myriad special-interest groups and societies’ events.
Before the inn opened as a gourmet restaurant and made famous throughout the US, Gina and Paul Newman installed a second kitchen in the one-story. It’s fully equipped and available for our guests’ use. Individual guests, hunters, gourmet cooking clubs, cross-country motorcycle clubs, and Dutch oven cooking students have used this facility.
